Quick find under thin covering of grass/turf using OS sketch. Cleared away encroaching vegetation and left it uncovered.

Reasonably quick find under light covering of grass. Tight parking space on north side of A834 about 10 metres east of the junction.

A couple of minutes probing with a tent peg produced the Berntsen on the surface but well covered with a tuft of grass. Nice spot with a good view.

Had difficulty in locating the trig plate. Had to give up in the end as it was buried under the grass. If I had a walking stick with me I could have prodded the ground a bit until I heard metal. Oh well!

Another one easily found by viewing iainmac'c photo. Not bad views to the hills south (Tor Achilty) & north (Cnoc Mor). No cars, on foot.

Thanks to iainmac and fasgadh for the pics below: made finding a lot easier as we only had a GPS for guidance. Slightly overgrown since last photographed, but now cleared again for future visitors. Nice views all around. Bag a bolt or surface block next and I'll be a fully-fledged anorak :oD

Berntsen found right beside T junction in road and was covered over. Mr Allymac managed to find and uncover it. Good condition. Excellent views of Marybank and surrounding countryside

Not too hard to find even without a sketch. Lightly buried.
