Approached from north west, pulled over on roadside next to bridleway crossing, opposite a house. About a mile south east along grassy path gentle descent then climb, past trees on right, south, then pillar comes into view. A memorial bench has been placed beside the pillar. Ducked under bench to photograph FB. Great all round views, although slightly limited to south west. Spider and cap in place. Fabulous location name.

Parked on the verge just N of the start of the PRoW. Easy walk along the bridleway. Good views. Was unprepared so didn't realise there was a bolt/rivet to dig up!!

Walked cross country from Bekesbourne to Aylesham en route to Farthingloe and logged this wonderful pillar in the process. Extra point for the bench.

Parked on wide grass verge by farm entrance, found a politely written note on the car asking me not to park there again. I replied, equally as politely, and depositied the note in their letter box. Anyway, back to business - the pillar sits on an unfenced field boundary. An original centre cap is retained, raised lettering; rear sight hole open. A memorial bench seat has been sited immediately adjacent to the pillar. Extensive panorama.

Visited on 6 mile walk after setting out from Adisham . Very easy to find on footpath, with added bonus of a bench right by trig to admire decent views of the Kent countryside on a good clear day.

Parked at Queen Elizabeth playing field next to Adisham School & followed footpaths across fields from there. Nice views across rolling chalk downland. Managed to stay dry between showers!

Cycled the complete length of the bridlepath that passes the pillar. At a present a dry grass surface. Pillar out in open with no nearby hedges.

Parked just off Bramling Road near site of Bekesbourne rivet (which was not to be seen) and walked along path through fields mostly planted with oilseed rape. An enjoyable light ramble through East Kent countryside.
