Nice 4k walk out and back on the bridleway from parking to the east, very sunny walk up. Trig in mint condition once again rivet benchmark found on pylon base on way down.

Beside bridalway easy to find

Pulled over on west side of road at start of bridleway about a mile and a half north west of Stoke Albany, almost beneath the electricity lines. Headed along track to north west, under power lines and past a barn and pile of hay, views opened out to the south. Where ground levelled out and path turned to west was a grave or memorial, continued past this until path was lost under a pile of hay and there was a gap in the hedge to the field to the north. No sign of pillar. (However just visible to the north east from here after finding it and looking back afterwards.) Slightly confused by the LR map so checked for more detail on here. Headed to hedge line running north from the corner north of the memorial, through a wonky gate to field to east then north to next gap in hedge then south again on west side of hedge to find pillar. Made a meal of it. Not helped by a lack of footpath signs. Reasonable views to west and south across farmland. Spider and cap in place.

Led my running group up for a visit from Weston-by- Welland, then down to and along Ashley Road before returning on another path back up the the trig, and then back to Weston. Pillar in good condition, no change since my last visit.

(2626) Like others before, it was Ashley Road for parking. Room for a couple of cars at the start of the PRoW. A really enjoyable walk, with good views on offer, and passing an unexpected solitary gravestone as I went. Going was good due to the ongoing hot dry weather. A cool breeze made things perfect today. Pillar in fine condition and still retains its original centre cap - indented lettering. Pillar history: Built on the 6th of December 1948, at a cost of £10 11s 7d. Last maintained by the OS in May of 1984

Parked in Ashley, opposite the ROW and walked from there, very muddy around the side of the cornfield. After that it was fine, pillar is on footpath near hedgerow.

Parked on Ashley Road. Took the public right of way (PRoW) from there. Eventually, the PRoW takes you through a gap in the hedge into the trig field. The pillar can be found next to the hedge on the eastern boundary. 5 of 8 today in and around Naseby.

Was in the area geocaching today, easy find as undergrowth was low and nothing was growing in the arable field. Good condition.

Easily accessible from the numerous footpaths converging at the top of Sutton Bassett Hill. Views somewhat curtailed due to hedges, but a grave and the famous Six Paths Meet signpost across the field add interest.

Been to find this point before but couldn’t find it. Spotted it straight the way this time on opposite approach. Very good condition. First one we've seen with a drainage hole? Everything in place. Nicest trig so far!

Parked in Ashley then followed easy path through fields and up to trig, lovely warm and sunny, nice rural views for an area dominated by urban sprawl and warehouses, I know I live nearby!

Good RoW along the Midshires Way from road junc to west. Last section cuts across a muddy recently sown arable field. Pillar sits on W side of a field boundary and retains an original centre cap, indented lettering; all sight holes open. Views not noted as pitch dark.

I parked on the road to the NW then followed ROW over several fields, intended to come back the same way, however, the field had some very frisky bullocks in it, so i took a diversion (coward I am :)) and went full circle and went back through lodge farm and back up the road. Pillar good condition and located on field boundary a few metres from the ROW, nice quiet area.

Found on a long walk on a hot day . Pillar is easy to spot at the side of an arable field next to a hedge which obscures 50% of the view , but good vistas from nearby . co-ordinate reading : N52 30 051 W000 50.753

Didn't park by the bridleway and started off in wrong direction. Once on path it was easy to find, though a few of the rights of way have mysteriously disappeared. Pillar in good condition. Got very wet on the way back!

Quite straight forward to reach using public bridleway from the east. Pillar quite visible standing just away from the hedge (western side). Very nice location.

parked at the lodge, not sure if these are full time houses or holiday homes but plenty of people about and nobody asked who I was as I left the car,no footpath signs so just walked through the plant hire yard and through the gate and up the hill without asking,nice views from the top,the footpath is signed at the top of the hill as straight back down to the lodge so not sure if it's been moved,diverted or somebody just does not want people about.

The Lodge seems to be the favoured route and I'm adding a me to parking on the corner where the minor road joins. Watch out for the black dog in the farm it has a loud and sudden bark but no bite. Nice stiff climb after the last few days all 50m of it :-)

A pleasant walk from the road junction to the east of Lodge Farm. The pasture field was full of cows and calves but they didn't seem very interested in us. Plug with indented lettering.

Walked up the hill from the Lodge farm, bit muddy and in the company of bullocks and sheep but ok. At the top circumvented a winter crop to find trig on far side of field. Bracing icy blast with a bit of snow, so i didn't hang around too long, although the views were good. A spring visit maybe?
