Pulled over on side of lane, walked along field edge to pillar. Straightforward access, bit wet in places. Flat farmland views. Spider and cap in place.

(239) And one more before heading off home. The haul bagged today has now seen me complete trig points that stretch from one side of Lincolnshire to the other. Parked up by the entrance to the oil well site. Asked permission at nearby Belt Farm to visit the trigpoint, which was readily given. No crop growing in the field at the minute, so getting to the Pillar is pretty easy and straight forward. Pillar history: Built on the 17th of October 1948, at a cost of £9 6s 9d. Last maintained by the OS in October of 1980.
