Above my fireplace at home is an original painting by the Fife artist Ian Ledward called 'Light on West Lomond'. I bought the picture back in 2010 while I was still Munro-ing, not actually Trig Pointing. I love the picture, however over the years as my knowledge of hills, trigs, 'Marilyns', County Tops, etc has increased I came to realise that my picture depicts both a Trig Pillar and a county top. So I thought I'd save 'bagging' it for a day of really good weather, and it had to represent a significant, auspicious moment. Today was the day...my wee dog Storm's 500th Trig Point Pillar. And as good a day's Trig Bagging as we've enjoyed in a long time.
