Appropriately named hill for today there was yellow everywhere: the flowers of the gorse, oil seed rape in the fields, broom in the hedgerows, a scattering of buttercups & dandelions, and quite a few yellowhammers flitting around. The pillar had its stamped cap in place, and two sight holes open (or two sight holes closed, if you prefer.)
