revisit told everyone this was a dogging area which created a bit of interest,but dog walking signs on the compound ended this. Weeds have been cleared in the compound could not climb gate again because of dog walkers. Trig in vgc minus tag.

(68) Located in a field used for Dog training. Next to 3rd concrete post to the left of the main gate. Gate was shut, but asked someone inside if I could pop in and take of few photo's of the FBM. She seemed a little bemused at my request, and not totally sure what I was referring too either, but permission was given. :-)

I was looking for the pillar when a van pulled up at the gate. They asked me if they could help. I said "yes, I'm looking for a fundamental benchmark". The van driver said "?". So I said, " a short pillar about this high". Oh, you mean this" and opened the gate and then shouwed it to me. I thanked him for his kindness.

Field of dreams dog training centre open on sundays according to local dog walker. As this was a Saturday we peered through the fence.

One of my walking group knows the operator of the dog training field so I took an opportunity to be inside the fence to get a photo not spoiled by the fence wire. In good condition, but minus the height plate, and carrying an ORDNANCE SURVEY BM plate on the NW face, and the damage notice on the NE.

(193) Just inside compound fence, stuggled to find it the day before even after scaling the gate to have a forage around. Determined to find it I came back after re checking the site and found it and performed some through fence gardening to uncover it. It was too busy on this occasion to risk going over the gate again. A satisfying bag after all this
