Of the six platform bolts I visited this week, this was by some way the clearest - a single stone on top. Good viewpoint.

Tertiary station T021 in the SX06, Bodmin, secondary block; computed in 1955, as were most of the nearby non-primary pillars; recomputed in 1986 and levelled to class 1 to a height of 36.777 metres in 1972 according to the OS trig mark list or 120.66 metres on their benchmark list. The trigpoint consists of a large brass survey bolt in the centre of a 5 foot square concrete platform on top of a 3 foot square concrete plinth set into the banked hedge of a grass field. The field was accessed through an open gateway next to a layby to the northwest; the field boundary was followed to reach the trig. There is a wide view of the surrounding countryside from the platform; St Agnes Beacon is in the west and the Carland Cross Wind Farm to the east.
