Platform is just into the Newquay Park n Ride. Parked in front of the gates and nipped over. Platform is not on a field boundary and access is clear. 2" bolt at centre.

Much easier than the first platform bolt I found! As per RW - Pristine freestanding platform bolt, easy parking in new road gated off currently. Popular dog walking spot.

The trig is situated in a gap in a low boundary bank between two fields on a low hill to the south east of Newquay. It consists of a two inch diameter bolt in the centre of a six foot square platform on top of a four foot square, three foot high plinth. A footpath enters the corner of the field to the west of the trig from the A392 to the south. Parts of Newquay could be seen to the west. The fringe of Newquay Airport is on a hill to the north and the wind turbines on Denzell Downs are further on to the north east and Castle-an-Dinas is in the distance to the east. An archaeologist was sat on the edge of a nearby trench; apparently investigating landscape features.

Station T016 in Block SX06. Bolt on a Platform. Platform clear in the hedgeline. There is a FP going diagionally across the field - not clear in the growing crop. I worked my way around the edge of the field.
