From pull in area at Mitchellslacks followed track north to almost New House (ruin) then ATV track which leads almost all the way to the summit. Thick mist above 450 metres. Didn't hang about on summit but took compass bearing towards Wee Queensberry.

Stunning place, cold wind blasts as the sun sheers in from the West, not for long though another bank of cloud on the way. Plovers flying nearby, nobody else up here. Green Lowther, Tinto, Culter, Cumbria and the Galloway hills.

12 mile circular walk taking in 7 hills including Queensberry and Wee Queensberry, great views from summit on a high cloud/sunny day.

Didn't realise at the time that this was loggable. Returned via Wee Queensberry.

Queensberry Cairn Large and rather shapeless pile of stones. GPS device on top stone next to pole.
