Easy enough to get to from the picnic area off the A760 at the top of Haylie Brae. Fantastic views and the Topograph in good enough condition given it's exposed position and popularity

Nice easy walk up from the bowling club on the Irvine Rd. One or 2 stairs to climb though ;) Good view across Millport, Bute, Arran, Fairlie Moors, The Knock and the Kyles. plastic cover on top slightly damaged/burned :)

Great views. For those of the pedestrian/public transport fraternity who are not afraid of stairs, there is easy access via the track which runs up the side of Douglas Park Bowling Green. There are more than 350 steps. Can also get to it from access road to Haylie Residential Home which is just opposite Haylie Hotel at bottom of Haylie Brae.

Weathered looking concrete toposcope sitting on a fine viewpoint overlooking Largs and the Firth of Clyde. The rose is still in good nick although the perspex is a bit battered. Views are amazing especially to other excellent local trigs such as the Knock, Barbay Hill and Goldenberry Hill.

A Fabulous veiw overlooking Largs, the Cumbraes, Arran and the Isles on a beautifal sunny morning. The perspex distance rose is pretty scratched up and its retaining bracers underneath are heavily rusted. I haven,t been up here since I was in shorts (the first time around! :D

This trig station NS04/DM/T3, computed 1958, is a topograph, one of only three in the archives. Showing its age a bit, but solid enough. Splendid views over the firth to Arran etc.
