Beinn Liath Mhor a' Ghiubhais Li to give the mountain its full name, but understandable that the surveyor shortened it! Bolt in summit shelter. Straightforward find. Mist lifted just before I got to the summit. Up and down from layby by Loch Glascarnoch. Saw a family of ptarmigan just below the summit.

Parked in 3rd parking spot (coming from Inverness side)by Loch Glascarnoch, then a steep climb south/southwest. Many stones near the top. Then to "top" it all off the bolt which is surrounded by a cairn was full of snow. So had fun digging it out. Lovely views all round. No rain and a bit of sun to top of the day. Worth the slog!!

Was not expecting to find the bolt ! Had taken shelter from the wind and only noticed in when I stood up since my rucksack had been hiding it.
