Visited the location on 2 April with the hope that the brambles might have died down and it was possible to find the fenomark. No such luck. Incredibly thick and prickly brambles at the approximate location. I’m sure the fenomark is still there but finding it will involve clearing the brambles.

Got a little closer by entering the field and approaching from W side of the sprawling bramble hedgerow, but still needed another 3m to even begin searching the ground. Needless to say, nothing found.

My GPS took me to a road verge, and then pointed into some brambles. May be it survives either under the grass of the verge or under the brambles. I had no joy.
