Very belated post - I only discovered this station existed in January 2024, so only 16 years after the event...but I was able to trace this entry I made on Facebook in the photo album of my "Compleat Guide to the Munros" : "Beinn Dearg (Ullapool) 'Red Hill' 3,556ft (1,084m) Rank 57 Climbed 07/06/08 alone. There are 2 Munros called Beinn Dearg, this is the bigger and more northerly of the two. As I sat up on the top some guy came running up to the top, took this photo for me then ran off again almost at a sprint. If he'd waited a couple of minutes, the cloud enveloping the peak cleared, to reveal some fabulous views of the 4 other Munros in the area. My Munro 92"

View East The photo of me taken by the mad hill runner!

View South Photo taken on an ancient mobile phone, some iteration of a Nokia. Not appalling bad quality I guess, but - wow - has that technology progressed in the last 2 decades!

A midnight approach from Inverlael. Reached the summit at 0430 in zero visibility and a biting wind. Easy approach following the wall then a bearing and step count to the cairn (2 steps out!). Quite a sizeable construction, but far from the biggest I've seen. Continued over Meall nan Ceapraichean and Eididh nan Clach Geala to return down Gleann na Sguaib. Brilliant wee adventure.
