Trig hiding in plain sight. It's the cairn. Talk about cutting out the middleman! Ascent from Grotaig, return via Glas-bheinn Beag.

Ascended via the tourist route from Grotaig. Not sure if the Trigpoint had an original cairn which claimed to be the trig or whether the present cairn is the trig. But the cairn is there so presume it’s the trig

After climbing the hill today noticed on the OS map there should've been a trig point here. Kicked myself for not noticing it, then read that it is nowhere to be seen.

Bagged hill after visiting Spean Bridge, Loch Tarff and Glen Morriston FBM's earlier that day, lovely path up to great viewpoint summit, saw several cairns including one that should be in the right position for where the trig marker is on the map no idea if this was an intersected station though, bit of a mystery this one ????

Not sure about this one as saw it on the site, walked up from the carpark near Balbeg, cracking walk up and good view of loch ness. At the top yes there are some cairns, however no station to be found and as i didnt know if one of the cairns was actually an active or passive station i didn't log anything at the time, but changed my mind so just doing so now (18/03/2012). So ive been told this one is a Phantom trig.
