Bedded on rock slab next to highest point, standing proud and easily found, could be visible from ferry with binocs. Typical Admiralty plate, but date and HMS name not completed. Part of a day charter with Seaharris, easy landing in flat calm conditions

Mortared into a small rock platform on slab rock near the island's high point. The circular plate has no survey ship or date engraved on it; possibly it was HMS Woodlark. Excellent sea conditions made for an easy landing.

400m view from Sound of Harris ferry, sadly not of the plate. Sizeable rocky islet

Island visable from the CalMac ferry on the Sound of Harris but not close enough to see any plate.
