Easy find thanks to the previous logger. Paced at 3.5m NE of the cairn. Re-covered and replace the marker stones. Poor first photo, dull day in the forest today.

Good condition 25th Sep 2019  13:15  by BigJ

Approached by the marked forestry track which has been extended to very near the required location. Wind blown trees made entry into the forest difficult. A well built cairn stands near the spot which is closely surrounded by large trees. Started prodding and digging in very stoney and boggy ground. After 1hr 15 mins and quite a few holes, came across a horizontal flat stone. Further investigation revealed a little white paint and other horizontal stones. Lifting these exposed a flat slab with a cheeky little rod type bolt in the middle. A misty dreich day meant I was soaked but happy.
