Parked at South Torfrey holiday cottages. A car turned up as we were deciding how to aproach this. Thought it might be the owner of the land but turned out to be friend of owner looking after place whilst owner away. She readily gave permission to look for it saying the owner would not mind, although she had no idea what it was. The new gps device took us straight to it, Although there were a few obsticles and scrambles. Aproaching from fields in an anticlockwise direction might be a better option. Very pleased with this first bag in nearly 11 years for this particular Platform.

The Platform is on the SW side of a track leading up from the farm/holiday cottages at South Torfrey. As is often the case it is set in a boulder and soil bank. The track is not a ROW, so I asked at the farm and was given permission to access. The start of the track is not easy to find - it is round to the left of some farm buildings. The track is little used and was sodden. The Platform was covered with turf, but a little gardening revealed the Bolt. The best views of the Platform are from the neighbouring field.
