Parking for one car near the start of the PROW, access to trig field by a gate. The cover plate was quickly found by probing ,1 metre North of the high point of the fell. Had to dig out the plate to expose the bolt great sunny views.

Probably less than a metre north from the fairly obvious high point of the hill. The ground was disturbed as a giveaway for location. I had a mind to lift the plate, but only had a trowel and a prodder with me and it proved to be quite large so let it lie. Replaced the turf I lifted.

Location - not much of a giveaway TP8079©jonglew

1 m N of highest point, under 3" of turf, a metal cover 6" across with caption "Ordnance Survey Do Not Disturb". Made no attempt to get lid up. Nice location, lovely view. A bit off footpath and visible from farm. Aggressive cow defending its calf, doesn't she know it's a public footpath?

Bolt under here presumably DO NOT DISTURB Oops sorry - too late :-)
Under turf just N of highest point
