Rivet in asphalt disc near NW corner of flat roof, c.2m from both edges. From ESE, Scarlett, coast path then field edge. Easier as a group visit, up onto blast wall, step carefully across gap, we found a plank of wood, psychological boost at least.

From mapped parking area to E. Lane past Scarlett then across very muddy cattle pastures, the final one ankle deep in slurry! Earth banked against a blast wall enabled access to view the roof, but there was a leap of faith required to get onto the narrow blast wall and step across to the roof... I passed on that and settled for a view of the roof. Assume the rivet will be up there somewhere. ***Revisited 25 Sep 2022. With a small plank spanning the gap, stability was provided for gaining the blast wall after which a simple step across. A rivet on an asphalt disc was found near the NW corner of the blockhouse roof. With peregrinus, DG, R & D McL.
