A lovely promontory overlooking the Sound of Sleat. Looks like it could have been an ancient fort. Very overgrown with precipitous sides. Had to be careful. Was helped by the OS sketch courtesy of Jon Glew. Much appreciated. Started stabbing as usual and hit the block within 10mins, 3 inches down. A quick dig and there it was. Small brass rod on a cement base. Top tip if you go to do it. The route along the shore, depending on the tide, is better than the higher one up the hill. (Just spotted two other baggers were in the area today. What are the chances. Would have been good to bump into them.)
