Had to hunt a bit for this one but eventually stabbed it. Trees starting to encroach a bit. Nice spot with good views on a roasting February day. Came up from Eddleston and finished down Soonhope.

Bad planning meant no ironmongery, and heather at the top made things difficult, but after a while the familiar clack of walking pole on concrete showed where it was. Took a fair bit of digging up with bare hands. Not a bolt, but a brass rod type, unusually.
