Quickly found a paint marked flat stone and looked under it. Went up from the outlet of St Mary's Loch.

Up through a field gate to the ESE (NT 2953 2339) after verge parking 70m south along the road. The flat stone it was covered with was immediately spotted. Lifted it, cleared away encroaching vegetation and replaced after photographing.

Wouldn’t have found it without photos from previous log, many thanks BigJ! Good views from here, 7/10 is at least 2 points higher than I've ever scored a surface block before! I decided on a whim as the weather was better than forecast to head W and bag 'The Wiss', took an hour an a quarter over rough but not 'bad rough' terrain.

Parked at the east end of St Mary's Loch and made my way across the rough hillside onto the summit of White Law. Marked cairn exists but not quite in the location shown. Found the 1/4" rod in its concrete pad after about 15mins, which is quite quick for a rod. It is situated under a flat rock on top of a low cairn which is about 11m west of the marked cairn.
