Walked up from Hawes End via Catbells and onto HIgh Spy before dropping down past Rigghead Quarries. Couldn't see a surface block but had a lovely walk.

Walked the Newlands horseshoe, Catbells to Robinson, on a bright sunny autumn day. Plenty of walkers, but no bolt.

GR giving approx 30m N and a little E of the summit cairn on flat short grass. Unfortunately no tools and anyway up here for the hills today.

20th of 21 summits on the 31 mile Cumbrian Traverse http://www.gofar.org.uk/Cumbrian%20Traverse.html which we completed in 8:45 Shortish grass, but no tools, time or inclination to search for the block.

from Cat Bells.. a steady climb. lovely views and very quiet by this time of day.. continued beyond Dale Head for an overnight in the hills.
