If a conventional surface block then there are some grassed areas amongst the outcrops. GPS pointing to a metre or so on S side cairn. No prodding/digging tools with me.

First of day wainright and birkett trip in langdale valley,had a good look around it may be under the large cairn super views from here long way out from main pike o blsco path to this.

under the summit cairn?. Listed as a block, I would have suspected a bolt in the exposed rock. Despite some probing of the grass patches i did not detect anything except rocks.
