Spoke with farmer who was happy for me to go and search. Spent 30 mins probing soft ground on both sides of wall, nothing found even worth an exploratory dig. Either some luck or the OS sketch is needed! ***Revisited 18 Feb 2023 with the OS sketch. Rough concrete block located 2-3" down with what looks like a standard OS rivet used as the marker. The marker was measured at 0.6m from face of base of wall and 4m SW from the p/w fence. Spoke with the farmer again, he advised the fence was new(ish) and almost certainly didn't follow the line of the original... I believe he is correct! The first re-visit photo shows how it was left, with the turf removed and 3 stones placed on the block. It also shows the significant offset from the fence on the other side of the wall.
