Easiest find of the day under the stone which had paint on one side possibly applied by the surveyors to ease finding. Rod type block great find M & K once again.

Passing by so ….. why not. Block slightly rolled to SE. A rod type rivet. A 3rd time lucky for us, and a revisit has been in our To Do list for a while but mickandkim beat us to it. Good find mickandkim.

Easy find, thanks to the usual suspects. E side of road, opposite the more northerly of two metal gates and aligned with a large square fencepost at the back of the hedge. Rod marker, the block seems to be sloping. Breezy day; wind turbines busy.

GPS now favours east side of road in hedge opposite northerly gate way. hard core and rocks but otherwise soft soil.

Nothing to work from except the grid ref. This is 10meter from a gate, adjacent to the hawthorn bush in the predominatly beech hedge. The block would appear to be well buried in the grass verge, hopefully not in the field as it was full of cattle. Had a good probing session but no luck. New windfarm being built.west Side of road
