Parked at cattle grid then went down road to second FP on right then followed this over fields and gates to lane Up lane to gate after building then up to high point for easy find We put extra stone on top of block

Revisit on exercise walk started at white head farm and circled round Rimington moor benchmarking along the way. Block ok looked across to nearby Pendle Hill not a soul about so quiet on this sunny warm day.

Visited whilst on BM hunt in the area, arrived at Downham Crossroads via 07.30 67 Clitheroe bus from Nelson Interchange. Fantastic views for little effort,off to find some Ancient Pivot BMs now on my way down to the Rising Sun in Blacko. Convenient bus stop outside for the 13.24 67 bus back to Nelson.

Walked up the boggy path to the south from the parking layby. Sunny morning could see for miles all the Dales giants on display. Found the covering stone easily enough rod type marker and cut benchmark great find dusty.

Tip off from Dusty. Easy find now! Its under a small flat stone adjacent to larger flat stone. With CBM on concrete pad.

Drove to a suitable footpath to access this but the weather got the better of us - as it looked very boggy indeed underfoot - we'll be back in the summer.

Gps puts location by walls of what may have once been a cart track but is now covered by wet tussocky grass - poked about more in hope than expectation
