Easy find already exposed on grassy spoil ridge, 15m N of path which differs from map, taking slightly longer route, well defined through crop. Another nice find M&K

Short circular walk from Denby Dale, managing to avoid the showers. Exposed block easily found on uncultivated ground (possibly spoil from the railway tunnel?). Following in the footsteps of M&K. Typical Pennines landscape with Castle Hill in the distance.

Arrived ready for a good search but the farmer was tilling the field preventing ready access. We'll be back one day as the GR is not on either of the two footpaths!
