Great spot especially if you like looking at all the Roman encampments on route. The last one on Cefn Morfuddand closest to the best views from Neath down to Swansea is where you'll find this surface block. Found on the SE corner, can't currently miss it as there is some concrete showing. Bolt is in excellent condition and so is the block.

SW corner of earthwork. Large bolt on concrete block. Left uncovered. The Royal Commission on the Ancient & Historical Monuments of Wales refers to this earthwork as:- Cefn Morfudd Enclosure III (C). A square earthwork enclosure, c22m across, banked and ditched; one of a group of 13 similar monuments. Broad Class & Period - Unkown. SS78169740
