Definitely a pipe. Found under a carpet of heather clad turf.

Team Claddach Cottage unearthed (or unheathered) this pipe which we initially thought was a brass plate.

Parked at field gate ~100m W of Wester Ellister Farm - had checked there, but no-one at home. Across cattle pasture to open moorland. This was originally listed as a Brass Plate, but a Pipe found on slab rock beneath large flap of heather/grass.

From NNW steep woodrush scramble from road. Heather at GR, rock outcrops a few m away but no sign of plate. Possibly buried or could have been on a metal pole and lost?
