From W. Half inch iron pipe cemented flush onto rock slab at W edge of grassy summit knoll. 5m E of expected coordinates according to my Etrex

Spoke with farmer, explained what I was looking for, he allowed me to take a spade up to the rocky top and dig around. Parked at field gate, 160m across sheep pasture to small summit indicated by GR. Lifted a fair bit of difficult, closely-woven turf but nothing found. ***Revisited 8 May 2022. Easy spot on bare rock, in fact the pipe is in my 2014 photograph, I just didn't recognze it for what it was at the time!
