Short length of half inch pipe drilled into small boulder and cemented in place. At break in slope with lovely views of Jura Sound and Islay peaks beyond. Was already exposed and GPS took me straight to it

Stone circle found marking location of trig point. Large partially covered stone in centre of circle. Topsoil removed but no evidence of 'pipe' found. Topsoil replaced. The word 'Mucraidh' means 'herd of swine' in Gaelic
