OSGB36 records "Bolt and L'ning C Dest 06/79". The existing conductor is attached to a pinnacle at the SW corner of the church tower. FB on the church still good but the bracket on the nearby (now closed) PH is under pebbledash.

NZ42 T330 Bolt and lightning conductor. Both reported destroyed 06/79. On todays visit a lightening conductor was seen on the SW corner of the tower. The bottom of the conductor looked like modern flat copper conductor, but at half height the conductor changes to braided copper cable. With a rod attached. Cut bench mark with central rivet on west face of tower. With A FB on South face of church at east end S8806
