The water tower has been demolished, along with all of the buildings behind it. The area is now just wasteland. Accordingly, the bolt is destroyed. BAE systems sold that part of Radway Green Industrial Estate some time ago. Back in August 2020, a developer, St Francis Group, in partnership with the landowner, Tilstone Industrial, lodged a planning application with Cheshire East Council, to build new logistics warehouses on the site. The site was once 1 of 16 Royal Ordnance Factories (ROFs), manufacturing explosives, ammunition, small arms, etc. After privatisation in 1985, it became known as Royal Ordnance plc. The company was then sold to British Aerospace (BAe) in 1987, which later became BAE Systems. Although BAE Systems sold off part of the site, they continue to lease another part of the site, in which they continue to manufacture ammunition

Now BAE Systems and was still apparently making munitions until it closed. Up for sale now. Square metal water tank on long legs still on site.
