Had nothing to dig with so I had my fingers crossed that it would still be visible, a long shot I know, but after a short time searching I spotted it, remarkably easy find! It's at the edge of the ferny ground, to the right of two smaller trees if you are facing North.

I have uploaded a couple of photos, if this what you call a "buried block" it is there and except for some blade marks on the brass marker it is good condition
