Set off up Greendale and took in Middle Fell before slogging up the east flank of Seatallan. Sat in the stone shelter on the summit and took in the skyline above the grassy plateau - the attractive stone built pillar, and the tops of Great Gable, Scafell Pike and Scafell. Not a bad collection. Returned via Buckbarrow to make a nice circuit.

Parked up at Greendale to do a short circuit of three Wainwrights. Up by Greendale Beck before branching off to the summit of Middle Fell. Followed the subsequent Wainwright ridge route to Seatallan but discovered that it is the oath seldom trod nowadays and had to clamber up the grassy shoulder of Seatallan. Wonderful views all around. From the pillar we headed down to Buckbarrow, then back to car and onto The Strands Inn for a pint.
