An impressive monument Ė pity you canít access the viewing room up the internal stairs. Strange that the carved panels are only on two sides with two unfinished. The Humber Bridge is visible to the south.

SE97 INT019 Sykes Mon. Monument used as trigpoint. The monument is 120ft high. It is honour of Sir Tatten Sykes (1772-1863) the 4th baronet and was built in 1865.
