Bolt inaccessible at the top of the tower. A flagstaff is present but unknown if this flagstaff is at the same location as the one used in 1938. It is possible to go up the tower every Sunday in the summer but from the pictures of this online it looks like the observation platform built has covered the floor of the tower and will obscure the bolt.

Still gorgeous. Doing good business in the cafe. Water bowls out for dogs and I now know it has a benchmark.

Followed Green Chain Walk from Shooters Hill Water Tower through Jack Wood. Three sided "castle" in poor condition - no access I walked around the base but couldn't find the bolt - it's probably on the roof. Flagstaff present. Tower erected in 1784. Ramsdens 36" theodolite was installed in 1797. Lots of parakeets
