Like another came here for the geocache. Knew there would be a Trig related item nearby but with it not being a YOSM I would not have any detail on my GPSr and didin't realise it's form or that it was at identical point. Oh well may be back if it ever becomes a YOSM but good to have been here anyway if not.

Totally forgot to log this, just found the picture (2019!) Geocache nearby. Log as follows: This cache has it all, a ditch to fall in, a fence to cross (maybe not an A&E type fence), a bog and some heather, oh and a steep wet hill side! Cache was easy to spot bit didn't realise the surface block was under it, felt silly when I finally spotted the thing!

I've never found a surface block before so very pleased. This would have been a nightmare if it wasn't for the stones covering it. Found a lovely butterfly roosting underneath so put the stone back quickly.

NC20 H117 BLOCK. A suprising find. Walked across the heather to the edge of earth mound/wall. At GPS position pulled aside a large flat rock, probed the ground and heard the characteristic thud. Dug through the soil to reveal a rod type rivet.
