Had to dig it out. Even though I was sure I was on the block, took a while to spot the bolt. As per Mr McGarry opposite steps.

Thanks to whoever dug the turf out- despite attempting to clear the stands of willowherb and careful searching I had resort to feeling around with my feet until I 'fell in the hole' with the block at the bottom.

Parked at waterworks. Block is across the road and directly in line with the stairs. In the longer grass but obvious to spot.

En-route to Triggers Weekend in Comrie. Easy find as noticeable depression in verge. Dug out surrounding turf and left uncovered. Smaller than usual 3/4" domed bolt in rough concrete block 1.5m from road edge.

Stirlingshire. We found it relatively easily but it would be more difficult in the summer. It is opposite a small reservoir compound.

Visited this again to see if we could find it only using the drawing from Ordnance Survey Site. Worked quite well but much easer if you take pictures from the site to help.

An easy one, due to the crib arrow on the road and the alignment with the fortress , sorry reservoir opposite. quite buried and the soil was very dry.
