Roadside verge parking on opp side road. 1" bolt in concrete block. Paced out distance from bridge parapet, dug away encroaching grass/turf; left it uncovered.

Easy thanks to previous logs with measurements. Nice stud with red paint on the block. Parking on bridge just beside block, you could probably park on top of it if you wished.

Wet afternoon en route home from Meikle Bin. Easy to locate the concrete but bolt itself was well buried.

Quite a large block - half exposed and sporting the shiniest brass *button* when unburied. Fabulous views towards the wall of lofty neighbours East and South.. one of the few angles where Dumgoyne doesnt stick out from the rest! :-)

Easy enough to find with the OS sketch. Block was covered up with looseish dirt. Easily excavated with a boot! Re-covered it as I'd found it. Nice view to the Corrie of Balglass.
