Access as per the route described by dal. At this time of year route to the trig point was very overgrown with lots of stinging nettles. Block is still in the position as previously logged though maybe not the same location as installed by the OS.

Parked at field entrance on S side bridge, W side road. Over field gate to scramble up steep disused railway embankment. Lot of pheasant feeders where the track once was. Concrete block sitting proud of the ground and easy to spot at E end of S parapet.

Bit of a scramble up to this one. Last time I was passing it was raining so didn't attempt but today was fine.

Station T075 in Secondary Block SU59, listed as an Order 4 Block. Computed 1960, maintained 1986. Unlike the 1:50k map, the 1:25k map doesnt show a disused railway bridge over the road, but that is what I found. Access onto the bridge from the south side of the bridge. There is a gate on the west side of the road, which gives access to a second gate leading to a track up on to the old railway (closed mid 60s). I was wondering if the Block was still around when I saw a lump of concrete a few yards to the east of the bridge, south side of the old railway. The top had been skimmed to a plane (no longer horizontal), and there in the middle was a rivet. The block of concrete is sitting on the surface. Seems a reasonable candidate for the OS block. Although it has been disturbed, my GPS agreed with the OS grid ref to within about 7m (similar to the GPS error estimate). The top of the embankment was a surprisingly good view point.
