Everything comes to those who wait. A year later and a revisit and its found! GPS again point to the cairn, dismantled this again. Found under the cairn having dug through the peat. Rod-type rivet. Also an OLD TRIG at this location

50m north of the road is a small cairn. This is the GR reported for the rivet. Rivet is not under cairn, which i then rebuilt. There are several rocks nearby but no sign of rivet. Possibly under vegetation.
