Bank seems fairly natural at this point, a few metres uphill from the path, if my GPS on 2 visits is reasonably accurate. Probing seemed initially promising but probing only found only stones. I had a ferry to catch but wouldn't rule out this being findable. BigJ not been here yet ....

If it couldn't be found in 2012 then unlikely it will be found now as new sloping paths have been installed to aid access to Limepark housing area. ***17 Apr 2023 update. OS sketch puts it 6.5m above the steps so worth a re-visit. ***Revisited 2 May 2023 with OS sketch. The fence with concrete posts has gone, assuming the block, if extant, will be in the rough ground between war memorial and house.

No joy. I suspect the current road post-dates the Block, so it may have gone or have been buried, My GPSr pointed to the side of the path to the war memorial just by the pavement.
