Good condition 14th Oct 2017  12:20  by ted

FB Number: Not logged  Condition: Good  Score: 7/10

Approached from bridleway to SW, through gap into a wet field, then along the S side of the hedge to a crossing point just before the pylons. Back along the N side of the hedge, the gorse bushes prompted doubts of sanity but it turned out not quite as bad as feared. Some bramble-bashing required (easiest to accomplish by walking backwards) but the gorse is avoidable. Spotted CJO's tie-wrap on a metal post. The block was then easily located under leaf cover.

1m on north side of fence. 5.75m west of a pipe nail found in a fence post is a rod-type rivet in the centre of a concrete block covered in white paint. The block is located in the middle of a bramble patch (of course!). To aid future visitors, we left a green tie wrap 2m to the west on a metal fence post and 2.2m to the east on the branch of a gorse bush. Access from behind the Blackpool Technology Park.
