(1473) Verge at bend in the road. No sign. Had a look around the park as well.

could still be there as there is a verge and banking. took gps reading - felt too conspicuous to do anything about finding it.

Site strewn with lumps of tarmac which is never a good sign. Excellent view though, its easy to see why it was installed where it was.

Had a look at the grass verge but could not find anything. Great views.

The GPS definatly put me at the corner of Woodfield Road on a grassy verge that looks like it is frequently driven over by cards and alike so the chances of finding this one without a sketch are pretty remote. That reminds me. Where does one find the sketches these days?

I searched the corner of Woodfield Road and down in the park as well, but lacking a sketch or any probing tools I was always going to be up against it. There are great views across to the Rivelin and Loxley valleys from here however though.
