Church of St Michael and St Mary Magdelene, Grade II listed, 1866-7 with 16thC brickwork in lower stages of the tower. Large car park accessible just E of the church. OS lists Flagstaff, Vane & Rivet as components; the former 2 present and correct on tower roof, the latter not investigated. Cut benchmark lower down on the tower.

It was dark but I could definitely see the flagstaff and I think I could see the vane. Rivet (which replaced bolt) assumed to be at the top of the tower and hence inaccessible.

St Michaels & St Mary Church, Easthampstead. Struggled to find a spot to park and ended up in a residential street behind the church, very busy but managed to find a parking spot. Also bagged the benchmark. http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm55770.

Here to search for associated Church Micro Geocache. Both vane and flagstaff still seem to exist.
