Went the wrong way but found the right way on the way back from the lighthouse. The easy path drops down to the cliff edge once you have climbed the gate.

From end of the road, parking for couple of cars (NB 1904 4245). Out to lighthouse first, picked this up on the return. Pillar's in a commanding position with extensive panoramic views. Original centre cap retained, looks like raised lettering from my photo; RHS sight hole open.

Parked at the end of the road. Walked up Ben Borrowston first, then onto Ben Laimishader and the trigpoint pillar. Super views in all directions.

Parked in Borrowston and followed the track round Ben Borrowston and down the steep cliff to Laimishader then up towards the trig. A lovely sunny day so the views were terrific.

Parked up at NB 18996 42444 and took the easy path to Lamishander. Easy walk to trigpoint. Excellent views as the sun was starting to set.

vgc, metal cap, wide letters. Nice grass and rock summit; great location and view. Straightforward approach with parking at roadhead.
