Bolt and intersected station at about the same time up on the tower. Loved the graffiti all the way up the tower stairs; the oldest date I saw was 1685.

Walked around the city walls admiring this wonderful building. Last looked in 5 years ago; today there was no admittance to the public as Eddie Izzard was getting some sort of doctorate

(846) Found some pretty cheap parking a stones throw from the Minster, so took some time to explore around the area. Didn't get to pop inside during this visit, though a York long weekend is on the cards for later in the year, so will most likely do the tour then. 1GL Bolt on the N end of the W tower.

Fantastic building, didn't go inside as was more interested in the cut mark and bolt at ground level in the south west corner facing High Petergate and the flush bracket '2423' on house wall opposite the west entrance.

Impressive to see the number of tourists visiting this trig station! The centre shares the same station id PP022 as the bolt on the roof whilst the latter is distinguished as a passive station.
